Jets vs Patriots Betting Pick
This game will be played at Gillette Stadium at 1:00 PM ET on Sunday, October 24, 2021.
Why Bet The Jets vs Patriots Under:
✅ Both of these teams are in the top half of the league in yards per play allowed on defense and in the bottom third of the league in yards per play gained on offense. Both teams are going to continue to struggle on offense, with the under being the best play to make in this AFC East matchup.
✅ These teams have already played this season, with the Patriots beating the Jets by a score of 25-6. While the Jets may have a little more success than they did in the first meeting between these teams, they are going to struggle against Bill Belichick’s defense again in this game. That will help the under come in.

✅ So far this season, the New York Jets have seen the total land under in three of their five games this season. The New England Patriots have seen the under come in in four of their six matchups in 2021.
New York Jets
The New York Jets are coming off of a trip to London last week, where they lost to the Atlanta Falcons by a score of 27-20. New York let the Falcons get out to a 17-0 lead in the first half, and the Jets’ comeback fell short at the very end despite them cutting the Falcons lead to a field goal in the fourth quarter. For the Jets, the continued concern after that game was the performance of their offense, namely Zach Wilson.
Wilson threw for under 200 yards in London against the Falcons, whose pass defense has been suspect for the majority of this season. Atlanta outgained the Jets by 220 yards for the entire game, which is an alarming disparity. In this game, the offensive outputs of both teams should be a little closer, but the Jets still have a lot of work to do to field a competitive offense.
New England Patriots
The New England Patriots dropped to 2-4 on the season when they lost in overtime last week against the Dallas Cowboys. Bill Belichick’s team put up a great fight against the Cowboys, keeping the game within one possession for the entirety. But the Patriots capitulated in overtime, and were outplayed for the majority of the game despite the close scoreline throughout.
New England was also outgained by over 200 yards by their opponent last week, giving up 567 total yards to the Cowboys last week. So far this season, the Patriots’ two wins for the season have come against the Jets and the Davis Mills-led Houston Texans. This game represents an opportunity for them to pick up another win over a subpar opponent, which the Patriots have to take advantage of.
