Super Bowl 55 is set for Sunday, February 7, 2021, when the Kansas City Chiefs visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Kansas City looks primed to win back-to-back Super Bowls, but Tom Brady will look to upend those dreams and win his seventh Super Bowl ring. This game will air live on CBS at 6:30 p.m. EST.
This is the most bet game of the season, mainly due to prop bets, and with 700 different prop bets on the DraftKings Sportsbook app, there are plenty of ways to get in on the action this Sunday.
Below are my best Super Bowl 55 prop bets. All lines are from DraftKings Sportsbook.
Tom Brady over 295.5 passing yards (-112)
Tom Brady has not had a great postseason thus far, but the best quarterback ever always shows up on the Super Bowl. I also expect this to be a high scoring affair and Brady will have to throw for 300+ yards if Tampa Bay wants to win. The former Patriots quarterback threw for 345 yards in their week 12 matchup. Brady went over 295.5 passing yards in four of the Bucs last five regular season games, and their Wild Card game over Washington, and I expect that to happen again. I like Tom Brady to go over 295.5 passing yards.
Leonard Fournette over 25.5 receiving yards (-112)
Playoff Lenny is lining himself up for a nice pay day this offseason and a good Super Bowl performance will put a bow on that. Fournette has gone over this number in two of the Bucs three playoff games this season and reached this mark three times in limited play during the regular season. Kansas City has allowed 50+ receiving yards to running backs in five of their last six games played and I expect Leonard Fournette to go over 25.5 receiving yards on Sunday.
Rob Gronkowski over 2.5 receptions (-112)
I think the Bucs have been wrapping Gronk in a bubble all season and are now ready to unleash him in the Super Bowl. Back when these two teams played in Week 12 Gronk hauled in six receptions for 106 yards. I’ll always back Rob Gronkowski in the Super Bowl, so give me Gronk over 2.5 receptions.
Devin White over 0.5 sacks (+160)
This one is certainly a longshot, but I like the way Devin White has been playing and how he gets around the entire field. Patrick Mahomes is so good at escaping the rush, and avoiding sacks, but White’s speed can make up for Mahomes shiftiness and earn you a nice payday. Take a flier on Devin White over 0.5 sacks.
