The Atlantic Coast Conference comes to primetime when the Louisville Cardinals (1-2, 0-2) visits the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (1-2, 1-1) on Friday, October 9, 2020. Both teams have had disappointing starts to 2020 and could desperately use a win. This game will air live on ESPN at 7:00 p.m. EST.
Through three games, the Louisville offense is averaging 29.7 points per game and 408.7 yards per game, 252.3 through the air and 156.3 on the ground. The Cardinals defense has struggled as they are allowing 30.3 points and 369.7 yards, 224.7 passing and 145.0 rushing.
Georgia Tech has been moving the ball but have been struggling to get in the end zone as they are averaging 454.0 yards per game, 233.0 passing and 221.0 rushing, but just 19.0 points per game. On defense, the Yellow Jackets are allowing 33.0 points and 441.3 yards, 269.7 through the air and 171.7 on the ground.
Below is my pick for the Louisville at Georgia Tech. All odds are from DraftKings Sportsbook.

Pitt got out to a 13-0 first quarter lead, but Louisville scored 17 unanswered to lead 17-13 midway through the second quarter. The Panthers scored the next 10 points, and held the Louisville offense at bay, to ultimately get the win. QB Malik Cunningham had a horrendous game, and got hurt right at the end, as he went 9/21 for just 107 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions. Running back Javian Hawkins had a 75-yard rushing touchdown but had just three yards total on his other 12 carries.
Georgia Tech travel to face the Syracuse Orange, two weeks back, and left upstate New York with a poor 37-20 defeat. Syracuse jumped out to a 17-0 first quarter lead and never looked back. Georgia Tech did get within three points late in the third quarter, but Syracuse scored 49 seconds later to push the lead back to double digits heading into the fourth quarter.
