Why Bet The Stevenson Over
✅ Rhamondre Stevenson has been the brightest spot of the Patriots offense for the entirety of this season. The slimmed down version of Stevenson is a fantastic three down back that has indisputably been the Patriots best offensive weapon. He has been quite consistent with doing good work as a receiver, but has been intermittent as a rusher. As a receiver, he has seen at least six targets five straight games. He has had at least six catches and at least 56 receiving yards in four of those six games. That receiving role is locked in. Where Stevenson will benefit rushing on Thursday night is in the absence of Damien Harris. In the previous two games Harris missed, Stevenson saw his highest and third highest carry totals of the season. The receiving role will remain in place and the rushing role will be elevated.
✅ The matchup with the Bills is not a great one on paper, but the Bills have not played the most difficult of schedules against opposing running games. The moderate level of difficulty to the matchup for Stevenson can essentially be thrown out the window. He will be highly involved regardless of game script, as he can be considered the team’s top receiving option at this time.

Buffalo Bills
The 8-3 Bills currently sit in a tie for first in the AFC East, trailing the Dolphins by a tiebreaker. A loss within the division would be another mark against them in the tiebreaker scenario, and this is a wildly important game for them. They are essentially locked into a playoff spot but the high end AFC East would slip out of their grasp with a loss.
New England Patriots
As important as this game is for the Bills, it is even more so for the 6-5 Patriots. Despite the current winning record, the Patriots currently find themselves outside of the AFC Wild Card picture. A loss on Thursday night would move them three games back in the division and cancel and divisional winning hopes. It would also likely move them two games out of a Wild Card spot. Make no mistake, coach Belichick will know what is on the line in this game.
