Dolphins vs Bills Betting Pick
This game will be played at Highmark Stadium at 1:00 PM ET on Sunday, October 31, 2021.
Why Bet The Bills:
✅ Buffalo is gaining a yard per play more than the Dolphins this season and allowing 1.4 yards per play less than Miami as well. The Bills have the best yards per play allowed average in the league this season, and are the only team in the NFL giving up under 5.0 yards per play during the 2021 season.
✅ The Bills are coming off of their bye week, and should be sharp and anxious to get back into the win column after their last game. Josh Allen’s slip at the goal line cost them in their last contest against the Titans, but the Bills could end up better for that experience, and should take it out on the Dolphins in this game.

✅ Buffalo is one of two teams in the NFL converting at least half of their third down attempts this season. Their ability to stay on the field offensively even when faced with third downs will make it hard for the Dolphins to get off the field, which will benefit the Bills in a big way.
Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins beat the New England Patriots in their first game of the season, but have lost six straight since then to drop to 1-6 on the year. Last week, the Dolphins had the lead in the final minutes of the game, but relinquished that advantage to the Atlanta Falcons. This week, the Dolphins will look for revenge on the Bills, who beat them 35-0 in the second week of the season.
That loss to the Bills was the game where Tua Tagovailoa suffered the rib injury that knocked him out of action for several weeks. Jacoby Brissett had to replace Tagovailoa as the Dolphins starting quarterback during the recovery period, but Tagovailoa has looked decent since his return. The problem for the Dolphins coming into this game is that decent is not likely to be good enough against the Bills defense and when competing against Josh Allen
Buffalo Bills
Buffalo is coming off of their bye week, getting the week off after their loss to the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football to end Week 6. The Tennessee loss was the first time this season that the Bills’ defense really struggled, as they were unable to slow down Derrick Henry and the rest of the Tennessee offense. This week, Buffalo’s defense will look to return to form at home and after a week of rest.
Offensively, the Bills have very little to improve upon, as they have scored at least 31 points in each of their last five games. Their loss to the Titans ended with a red zone stand by Tennessee, which was the result of Josh Allen slipping while attempting to pick up a first down on a quarterback sneak. That fluke result aside, the Bills are right where they want to be on offense, and will look to light up the scoreboard again when they face Miami.
