Javonte Williams will be our player to look at props on for our first Monday night wager of the year. The Seattle Seahawks host the Denver Broncos, but it is the Broncos that are favored. The Broncos are set as a six point favorite in Seattle.
We will have you covered for player props on all of the prime time games this season.
We will go more in depth on game scripts as the year progresses and betting plays are created from those projections. For now, let’s dive into the player prop bet for Monday night.
Javonte Williams Player Prop Bet
Javonte Williams confirmed his ability for every believer throughout his rookie season. His ability as a runner, pass catcher and pass protector were on full display. There are few that would argue Williams ability is at or near the elite of any back in the league.
Williams rookie season was sound from a statistical standpoint, but not eye popping. He had 203 carries for 903 yards and four touchdowns. He added 43 catches on 53 targets for another 316 yards and three more scores. His production as a whole was great on a per touch basis, and we will see him a year better and in a larger role this season. Melvin Gordon will still be involved, but there is no question there is a shift to Williams being the top dog in the Denver backfield. We will also see a much more effective offense as a whole with Russell Wilson taking over as quarterback.
Williams 4.45 yard per carry average from 2021 should increase in 2022. Both from an ability perspective and the improved offense perspective. He also sees a soft matchup against the Seahawks and one in which there will be no shortage of opportunity for rushing attempts. His rushing yardage prop is set at just 56.5 yards, an easily attainable figure. With a probable favorable game script and a soft matchup, Williams likely needs just 12 carries to go over that figure. The likelihood is his carries land in the 15-20 neighborhood, meaning he likely goes well over that 56.5 yard figure.
Betting Pick: Javonte Williams Over 56.5 Rushing Yards
