Game six of the World Series is set for Saturday night when the Philadelphia Phillies visit the Houston Astros. The Phillies took a 2-1 series lead with a historic performance in game three, but it has been all Houston since, and the Astros now have two games at home to wrap up the World Series win. Below is my MLB pick for game six.

Philadelphia Phillies vs Houston Astros Betting Pick
This game will be played at Minute Maid Park at 8:03 PM ET on Saturday, November 5, 2022.
Why Bet The Houston Astros
✅ The Astros are the best home team in the league and they will be ready to celebrate Saturday night.
✅ The Phillies could not hit Framber Valdez in game two and with the bats being quiet the past two games this is the last guy Philadelphia wants to see.
✅ It has been pretty evident Zack Wheeler has been pitching with a dead arm since the NLCS and the Astros offense will look to jump him early in game six.

Philadelphia Phillies
The Philadelphia Phillies bats have gone silent since the sixth inning in game three and that continued Thursday night. Philadelphia has been especially poor with runners in scoring position as they didn’t get a hit with RISP from game one until the eighth inning of game five. The Phillies will have to find their bats in Houston.
Zack Wheeler will take the mound in game six as he looks to bounce back from a poor game two start. In the postseason, Wheeler is 1-2 with a 2.67 ERA and 0.73 WHIP. Wheeler gave up five runs, four earned, in five innings pitched in game two.
Bryce Harper is having a legendary postseason as he leads the Phillies with a .373 batting average, six home runs, and 13 RBIs. Harper’s numbers are ridiculous as he also leads Philadelphia with a .439 on base percentage and 22 hits. Just an unreal run by the 2021 MVP.
Houston Astros
The Houston Astros took a 3-2 series lead with a 3-2-win Thursday night. Jeremy Pena got the scoring started in the first inning, with an RBI single, and then again gave them the lead in the fourth with a solo home run. Yordan Alvarez got the game-winning RBI with a groundout in the top of the eighth inning. Justin Verlander got his first World Series win after eight appearances.
Framber Valdez has been nearly hitless this postseason and he will take the mound hoping to clinch a World Series. Valdez is 2-0 with a 1.42 ERA and 0.95 WHIP this postseason. In game two, Valdez allowed just one run and four hits in 6.1 innings pitched.
Yuli Gurriel has been hot this postseason as he leads the Astros with a .347 batting average and Alex Bregman has a team high11 RBIs and .370 on base percentage. Jeremy Pena leads the way with four home runs and 18 hits.
