The regular season is well underway and host Adam Burke had a week’s worth of data to digest and analyze for this April 8 edition of The Bettor’s Box. Our MLB betting podcast is the best in the business bar none and it is great to hear Adam back on the airwaves breaking down everything from the diamond. Adam had some interesting notes on exit velocity and fly balls, updates on line moves that we’ve seen so far, picks, and a preview for the weekend on this show.
Download the ATS App from the Google Play Store or the Apple Store to track along with Adam’s picks from his daily MLB picks article. We’ve got a lot of great content on a daily basis here at the website for you to check out as well, so keep it locked in right here at ATS.io.
Host Adam Burke was in midseason form right away on today’s edition of The Bettor’s Box. Adam talked about what we’ve seen so far in terms of teams off to slow offensive starts and the reasons why. The new baseball may have a negative impact on some of the league’s best offensive teams, which led to some eye-opening analysis on offense and the teams that may end up struggling for this season. There are some big names on the list.
After looking at some other early-season outliers to talk about the concept of regression, Adam recapped some line moves that we’ve seen so far and forecasted some line moves that are likely to continue as the baseball betting market takes shape. A conversation about BABIP and a few picks for Thursday fed into a preview of the weekend ahead with thoughts on Angels vs. Jays, A’s vs. Astros, and Phillies vs. Braves.
Join Adam on Monday for another edition of The Bettor’s Box.
