Host Adam Burke was back on the mic with a new edition of The Bettor’s Box on Thursday April 29. Adam had a lot to talk about as he’s had some more time this week to digest what has been happening with the MLB season to this point. A lack of offense really stands out and was a talking point throughout the show, as Adam looked at some play-on teams, some play-against teams, and a whole lot more.
We’ve got a lot of great content on a daily basis at ATS.io for you to check out, so be sure to take a look at all of that. Host Adam Burke is saddened and disheartened by the lack of offense this baseball season and also by what we’ve been seeing. Adjustments and enhancements made by teams that led to some of the same from Adam in a betting context have gone by the wayside because of how the game has changed. Adam lamented those factors, talked about some historically low offensive outputs, and some play-on and play-against teams during the Beyond the Box Score segment.
Adam talked about totals moves and looking for context clues with those in the betting markets during the Down the Lines segment before talking about the importance of spin rate and its application in the handicapping process. Lastly, previews of four series for the week ahead featured Indians vs. White Sox, Dodgers vs. Brewers, Astros vs. Rays, and Mets vs. Phillies.
Join Adam again on Monday for another edition of The Bettor’s Box.
