Indiana Pacers Betting Preview
The Indiana Pacers fell just short of the play-in tournament in the last NBA season. The framework is there for this organization to have success, but their health and consistency have been major concerns. Whether or not they will be able to overcome those concerns will determine whether this Pacers season will end with a trip to the playoffs or another year of falling just short.

Indiana Pacers Picks, Predictions & Betting News
Offseason Transactions
Key Additions: Bruce Brown, Obi Toppin, Jordan Nwora
Key Departures: Oshae Brissett, Chris Duarte
The Pacers made a couple of decent maneuvers in the offseason, bringing in Bruce Brown from the Nuggets and Obi Toppin from the Knicks. Brown has played for last year’s NBA champions and some elite Nets teams over the last couple of years, and he is just the kind of veteran presence a team like this could use. If Obi Toppin learns how to shoot the basketball, this offseason could be a home run for Indiana.
Positives & Negatives
The upside of this Pacers team is its biggest positive going into the 2023-24 NBA season. If Myles Turner can stay on the floor, he could pair really nicely with an All-Star point guard in Tyrese Haliburton. This team is working on its depth as well, and is clearly trending in the right direction.
However, asking players like Myles Turner and Buddy Hield to be consistent contributors is a real challenge. This team stunk on defense last season, and Turner is no guarantee to remain on the floor to change that.
2023-24 Indiana Pacers Win Total Prediction: Under 38.5 Wins
Going into this season, we will take the Pacers to go under their total of 38.5 wins. Their defense is not going to be much better than it was a season ago, and injury concerns are still lingering for the only player who gives them a ton on that end of the floor. The Pacers will be fun to watch, but they should fall short of the postseason once again.
