The Oklahoma City Thunder visit the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday night. OKC arrives on an 11‑game win streak and an incredible 19-1 record for the season. But the Thunder's only loss of this season came against these same Trail Blazers and Portland will try to hand OKC a second loss this year. Here, I break down the chances of that happening and I will give you my Thunder vs Trail Blazers prediction from the Pacific Northwest.

Key Storylines
- OKC remains the best team in the West with a 19‑1 record and continues to dominate, even without all their usual rotation players. Their defense ranks among the best in the league, and their offense has been humming at an efficient clip as well. The return of Jalen Williams to the floor this past week could make the Thunder even better.
- The Blazers are in rough shape heading into Sunday's game. Multiple key players are unavailable due to injury. That includes guards like Scoot Henderson (hamstring), Jrue Holiday (calf), and Shaedon Sharpe (calf). Their frontcourt depth is also shaky, with starting center Donovan Clingan listed as questionable.
- The Thunder blew out Portland 122–95 in their most recent meeting one week ago. But Portland won the first meeting between these teams at Moda Center. That was the only loss OKC has taken this season and it was the second game of a back-to-back for the Thunder. But that game is proof that the Thunder can be beaten.
Head-to-Head & Betting Trends
- Portland has lost 17 of the last 18 games against Oklahoma City, including 8 of the last 9 home games against OKC.
- The Thunder are 10-10 against the spread despite being 19-1 straight up.
- Portland is 9-10 against the spread heading into Sunday night.
- The Thunder have gone over the total in 12 of their first 19 games.
- OKC has gone 10-10 in the over/under market this year.
Thunder vs Trail Blazers Model Projection

Final Thoughts
Everything points toward a comfortable win for Oklahoma City in this spot. The Thunder are playing incredible basketball and the Trail Blazers don't have the weapons they did the first time they beat OKC in Portland this year. Portland has a rest advantage in this game, but I'm laying the points with OKC on the road.
