Hawks vs 76ers Odds

76ers -1.5 | Hawks -105, 76ers -115 | 233.5 |
Key Storylines
- Philadelphia health concerns: The 76ers are missing several lineup pieces and have uncertainty around their interior defense. The absence of Joel Embiid and the questionable status of Andre Drummond change how they defend the pick-and-roll and handle their rebounding. Their bench depth is limited and minutes for young players will increase.
- Atlanta is adjusting without its primary playmaker: The Hawks are still without their lead guard Trae Young and have reallocated playmaking duties across multiple players. That has created different offensive looks and allowed secondary scorers to show they can create in isolation and off catch-and-shoot opportunities. Kristaps Porzingis is also out, which could cause problems for the Hawks offensively as well.
- Recent form and rest: Atlanta arrives in Philly having won three of their last four games. Philadelphia has dropped three of its last five games and they will try to turn things around with a win on their home floor here.

Final Thoughts
The Sixers are dealing with a bunch of injuries right now. But Atlanta is also injured at some key spots on the floor and they may not be able to take advantage of the issues that Philly is dealing with. I'm going to take the Sixers to win this game and cover the spread at home. However, I don't feel exceedingly confident in either of these teams to get the job done in this matchup.
