Virginia at Miami Pick
Last time out, UVA hosted the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and suffered a disappointing 37-17 defeat. Wake Forest jumped out to a 10-0 first quarter lead and never looked back, leading by double digits the majority of the night. Brennan Armstrong went 33/59 for 407 yards, two touchdown, one interception, and added 33 yards on the ground. Dontayvion Wicks went off for 114 yards and one touchdown on eight receptions. Defensively, the Cavaliers allowed 473 total yards and did not force any Wake Forest turnovers.
Miami hosted the Central Connecticut Blue Devils and dominated on their way to a 69-0 win. There is nothing to take away from a game like this as Miami should have done exactly what they did. Miami’s QBs combined to go 21/25 for 417 yards, five touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Running back Cam’Ron Harris rushed the ball 10 times for 100 yards and two touchdowns, and added one reception for 83 yards and an additional touchdown. Defensively, the Hurricanes allowed 198 total yards and forced one Blue Devils interception.
