BetMGM Illinois Betting Preview – Bulls vs Timberwolves
An intra-conference battle is set for the final day of the regular season as the Chicago Bulls (45-36, 18-22 away) visit the Minnesota Timberwolves (46-35, 26-14 home). Chicago is going to finish sixth in the East and will, most likely, be facing Boston in the first round. Minnesota will be the top seed in the play-in tournament and will have to beat the Spurs to get into the main playoff bracket.
Last time out, Chicago hosted Charlotte and were blown out, losing 133-117. This was total domination by the Hornets as they led by as many as 37 points and never trailed by more than two. Zach LaVine had 23 points, four rebounds and seven assists in the loss. Charlotte shot 60.5% (52-86) from the field, 47.5% (19-40) from three and made all 10 of their free throws.
Minnesota hosted San Antonio and held on for a 127-121 win. The Timberwolves were leading by 15 entering the final quarter, but the Spurs kept fighting and made the final minutes a battle. Anthony Edwards had 49 points, six rebounds, eight assists and one steal in the win. San Antonio shot 48.3% from the field, 35.7% from beyond the arc and made 25 of their 34 free throws.
