New York Knicks
The New York Knicks lost on Friday night, relinquishing a convincing first half lead against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Knicks struggled to get stops late in that game, which is to be expected when facing Joel Embiid and James Harden. But the Knicks may not find defending any easier when facing Lauri Markkanen and the Jazz.
For the Knicks, there is some concern that their young stars are not delivering of late. RJ Barrett shot 7/16 against the Sixers on Friday, while Obi Toppin has failed to look like an NBA player at times lately. New York needs players like them to perform, especially since they declined to trade those players to bring in another star.
