Why Bet The Grizzlies:
✅ The public perception surrounding this game will be down on the Grizzlies thanks to the absence of Ja Morant and Desmond Bane. But the Grizzlies have a ton of depth and will be able to overcome the loss of their two best players at home.
✅ Sacramento is in fourth place in the Western Conference, but nearly all of their success has come at home. They are 6-3 at home and just 3-3 on the road. Their road mediocrity will hurt them here against a talented Grizzlies squad that is 6-1 at home.
✅ Only two teams in the Western Conference have allowed more points per game than the Kings so far this season. Those teams are the Spurs and Warriors, who are outside of the top-10 in the West standings. The Kings’ porous defense will hurt them in a major way here.

The Sacramento Kings are off to a great start this season, finding themselves in the top-four in the Western Conference standings. Their offense has been simply incredible, averaging a league-best 121.4 points per game. But their defense is what is going to be tested in this matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies.
While De’Aaron Fox and the Kings can score at will, they are among the worst teams in the league on the defensive end of the floor. While the Grizzlies are a little short-handed coming into this game, there is no reason to believe that the defense of the Kings can take advantage of that.
The Memphis Grizzlies are in sixth place in the Western Conference, but they are in dire straits from an injury standpoint right now. Ja Morant and Desmond Bane are both out for at least another week or so. Without them the Grizzlies will need to find consistent offense if they are going to get the better of the Sacramento Kings.
Fortunately for the Grizzlies, they have a few things working in their favor even without Morant and Bane. First, they have elite three-point shooting, and the playmaking of Dillon Brooks. They also have some solid rebounders like Steven Adams to help them generate second chances, which could help them win this game even without their top guns.
