Magic vs Knicks Betting Pick
This game will be played at 7:00 PM ET at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, October 24, 2021.
Why Bet The Knicks:
✅ The Knicks demolished the undermanned Magic on Friday, beating them by 25 points on Friday. The losses of respectable rotation players like Chuma Okeke and Gary Harris were felt by the Magic, who just couldn’t make enough shots to fight their way back into the game. In New York, the Knicks will deliver a similar performance.
✅ The struggles of young Magic players Jalen Suggs and Cole Anthony continued on Friday. They both shot under 33% on Friday, shooting a combined 7/31 from the field against the Knicks. Against the defensive minded Knicks, they are likely to have issues for a third straight game.

✅ Some teams might come out flat against an opponent they just blew out in the previous game. But the Knicks under Tom Thibodeau aren’t a team that lets up in most cases. They should come out with the same energy and, as long as their shots are falling, cover the number as heavy favorites.
Orlando Magic
The start to this season has been a disaster for the Orlando Magic, though that hasn’t been entirely unexpected. Orlando has more or less committed to rebuilding this season, fielding a roster that is one of the worst in the recent history of the league. And with several of their top players on that roster out of action right now, the Magic are simply not equipped to compete with most of the league.
Through two games, the Magic have failed to break 100 in a game so far and have allowed over 120 points in both contests they have played in. While improvement could come later in the season, as Jalen Suggs continues to get his feet wet in the league, things are just looking bleak for the Magic at this point in time.
New York Knicks
On the flip side, things are looking incredible for the New York Knicks this season. After grinding out a two overtime win over the Boston Celtics in their opener, the Knicks demolished the Magic in their second contest on Friday. Kemba Walker and Evan Fournier have both had their moments as they have fit into the Knicks’ roster nicely, while the members from last year’s team have continued playing at a high level.
The additions of Fournier and Walker have improved the Knicks’ depth so nicely, as they can use Derrick Rose and Immanuel Quickley in more traditional reserve roles. And with Mitchell Robinson back to play center, the Knicks will be a scary team when Nerlens Noel is healthy and able to be his backup.
