Knicks vs 76ers Betting Pick
This game will be played at Wells Fargo Center at 7:00 PM ET on Friday, November 4, 2022.
Why Bet The Knicks:
✅ The 76ers are dealing with some serious roster concerns coming into this contest. James Harden is out with a foot injury, while Joel Embiid is questionable due to illness. With one or both of their stars missing, a healthy Knicks team should be able to win this contest even though they are on the road in Philadelphia.

✅ So far this season, simply scoring the basketball has been an issue for the Sixers. There are only two teams averaging fewer points per game than the Sixers in the Eastern Conference. Those two teams are the Detroit Pistons and the Orlando Magic, both of whom are at the bottom of the conference standings. Expect their offensive woes to continue, even if Tyrese Maxey has another big game in the place of James Harden.
✅ The Knicks will be playing to bounce back from a disastrous game against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday. They led by 23 points in the first half before losing by 13 points. A second straight lackluster performance under Tom Thibodeau does not seem likely, and the Knicks should get their first road win of the year against a shorthanded opponent.
New York Knicks
The New York Knicks were embarrassed at home in their last game, falling to the Atlanta Hawks despite leading by nearly two dozen points in the second quarter. They could not stop Dejounte Murray, and could not stop turning the ball over to Murray either. Here, the Knicks will aim to take advantage of a Sixers team that is struggling and dealing with injury issues.
For the Knicks, bouncing back in this game will require them to defend without fouling. Last season, they allowed Joel Embiid to parade to the free throw line at will against them. If they can prevent that this time around, they could easily come out of Philly with a win to move to 4-4.
Philadelphia 76ers
The Philadelphia 76ers lost their last game as well, dropping to 4-5 after a 10-point loss to the Washington Wizards. They struggled to stop Kristaps Porzingis in that game, and will now try to slow down a Knicks team with several weapons. But they could be without both James Harden and Joel Embiid, which could make things way more difficult on them.
The ultimate goal for the Sixers in this game will be to find some offensive continuity without Harden in their lineup. Against a Knicks team that has been very inconsistent on defense, the Sixers should have their chances to do just that. But that will require the likes of Tobias Harris and P.J. Tucker to step up and deliver in a way that they have not so far this year.
