The first three games of the series between the Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers were all about the status of Joel Embiid. With Embiid out, the Sixers could not hold a candle to the Heat, with Miami taking a 2-0 lead on their home floor. Philadelphia took Game 3 with Embiid back, and will look to even the series with him available in Game 4. In today’s NBA betting picks, we look at Heat vs 76ers Game 4, as the Sixers look to even things up while the Heat look to deliver a crucial blow on the road.

Heat vs 76ers Game 4 Betting Pick
This game will be played at Wells Fargo Center at 8:00 PM ET on Sunday, May 8, 2022.
Why Bet The Heat:
✅ The Heat had an abnormally bad offensive game in Game 3 of this series. Outside of Jimmy Butler, who scored 33 points, the rest of the Heat players scored just 46 points and made just 15 shots. They will have a more normal offensive performance in Game 4, and will be able to come out of Philadelphia with a 3-1 series lead.
✅ Philadelphia scored just 99 points in their Game 3 win, but had an outlier of a performance from Danny Green to get them there. Green made seven of his nine three-point shot attempts in Game 3, and is unlikely to shoot at 77% from long distance again in Game 4. Expect better perimeter defense from the Heat in this contest to help them win this contest.

✅ Even though they won the third game of this series, the Philadelphia 76ers turned the ball over a ton in the process. They committed nearly twice as many turnovers as the Heat in Game 3, and the struggles protecting the ball the Sixers have had will not go away here. The Sixers will lose the turnover battle again in this contest and lose the game this time around.
Miami Heat
For the Miami Heat, Game 3 of this series was a worst case scenario, as they were blown out 99-79 in Philadelphia. Jimmy Butler was the only bright spot for the Heat, as he scored 33 points while the rest of the team did very little on the offensive end of the floor. In Game 4, Miami will hope that players like Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo can do more to give them a chance to take a commanding 3-1 lead.
Perimeter defense is also going to be key for the Heat in Game 4, as they had a massive lapse in defending the three-point line in Game 3. They let the Sixers shoot 16/33 from three-point range on Friday, which could give the Sixers a chance to win this series if that type of shooting keeps up. Erik Spoelstra is great at making adjustments from game to game in the postseason, and should adjust to slow down the shooting of the Sixers in this Sunday showdown.
Philadelphia 76ers
The Philadelphia 76ers took full advantage of the return of Joel Embiid in Game 3 of this series on Friday night. Embiid had 18 points and 11 rebounds, as his contributions on the glass were palpable as the Sixers were better able to control the boards to help them win the game. But the Sixers still have some areas to improve on if they are going to win Game 4 and even this series at 2-2.
Embiid and James Harden combined for just 35 points in Game 3, with Danny Green really picking them up behind a 7/9 shooting game from three-point range. Green cannot be counted on to shoot the ball that well again, and the Sixers will need more from their top-two stars if they want to avoid a 3-1 hole at the hands of the Heat.
