Heat vs Mavericks Betting Pick
This game will be played at American Airlines Center at 7:30 PM ET on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.
Why Bet The Heat:
✅ The Miami Heat have been playing incredible basketball as of late, starting their season with five wins in their first six games. Included in that stretch has been two road wins in three tries, including a victory on the road over the Brooklyn Nets. Miami should be able to make it three road wins in four tries on Tuesday.
✅ A big reason for the Heat’s early success has been the way Kyle Lowry has come into the squad and played the facilitator role. He has over seven assists per game through Miami’s first six contests, setting up the plethora of scoring options on the Heat in positions where they can be their most impactful.

✅ The Dallas Mavericks are 4-2 this season, but have failed in two of their three games against playoff contenders so far this year. Wins over non-entities like the Houston Rockets and Sacramento Kings have masked how poor this team has been offensively, with even Luka Doncic struggling to find his footing on the offensive end of the floor.
Miami Heat
It has been a brilliant start to the season for the Miami Heat, as they have won five games in six tries and four straight games coming into this matchup. Their last three wins have come against the Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets and Memphis Grizzlies, all of whom are expected to make the playoffs this year. And while Miami has been good at scoring the ball, their defense has really been the difference maker for them.
Through six games, the Miami Heat have allowed no more than 103 points in a single game. In today’s NBA that is so full of pace and three-point shooting, that six-game stretch of defensive success has been very impressive for Miami. They will need to bring that same level of defense against Luka and the Mavs if they want to improve to 6-1 after Heat vs Mavericks.
Dallas Mavericks
The Dallas Mavericks are off to a 4-2 start to this season, but they have had their share of issues to this point in the year. Their offense has broken 110 points just once this season, with that offensive outburst coming against the lowly Houston Rockets. Miami is certainly operating at a higher level than Houston this season, and that could be a problem for the anemic Dallas offense in this matchup.
Luka Doncic is the starting point for the Dallas offense, and he has struggled so far this season. Doncic is making under a quarter of his three-point attempts so far this season, and is only making two-thirds of his free-throw attempts. While Luka is still the leading scorer for the Mavs, he has some work to do to get to his typical MVP-level standard.
