This game will be played at Target Center at 9:00 PM ET on Friday, April 29, 2022.
Why Bet The Timberwolves:
✅ The Minnesota Timberwolves have been the better team in this series so far, even if they are behind 3-2 in the series. They held double-digit leads in two of their three losses in this series, and there is an argument to be made that they should have already closed this series out. They will pick up a win at home here, barring another collapse.
✅ Karl-Anthony Towns has stepped up over the last couple of games in this series for the Timberwolves. Towns has averaged 30.5 points per game over the last two games, making eight of his 12 three-point shot attempts over that span. At home in a must-win game, he will continue to play at a high level to help the Wolves force a Game 7.

✅ The Timberwolves have had a better true shooting percentage than the Grizzlies through the first five games of this series. With the series being played at their pace, and Minnesota being more efficient from the perimeter, the Timberwolves are going to come away with a tight Game 6 to set up the only Game 7 of the first round.
Memphis Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies have made a habit of coming back from double-digit deficits during the NBA Playoffs so far. They have trailed by double figures and come back to win twice in this series, and will look to close out the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night. In order to do so, the Grizzlies will need to get off to a better start than they have in most of the games in this series.
Memphis will also need to figure out a way to slow down Karl-Anthony Towns, which they have struggled to do over the last two games. Towns has improved his efficiency from three-point range, making two-thirds of his perimeter shots in the last two games. Memphis must stay attached to Towns if they want to avoid having to defend their home court in a Game 7.
Minnesota Timberwolves
Minnesota will come into the sixth game of this series feeling like they should have won the series already. Had they closed out Games 3 and 5 with huge leads in the second half, the Timberwolves would be preparing for the second round right now. Instead, they face elimination on Friday night and will need to win two straight games to advance to the second round.
If Minnesota is going to win this game, they are going to need to do a better job of playing defense in the second half. Memphis has been getting whatever they want both at the rim and from the outside late in games. If Minnesota does not remedy that, they will see their season end on Friday night.
