Nuggets vs Nets
The Nets are a team that have odd home/road splits. Being a better team on the road than at home is certainly not the norm, but that has been the case for the Nets this season. What’s more, is that trend will likely continue and perhaps even grow wider while Kevin Durant is out. The reason for this is Kyrie Irving. In insane fashion, he is not allowed to play in home games due to his vaccination status. He is however playing in road games. For the foreseeable future, the Nets will have just James Harden and a mixed bag of role players available at home.
The Nuggets home/road split is much tighter than most teams. They only have a slight downtick in results in road games from that of home games. While the Nuggets remain without Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr, they are certainly in a more advantageous position in terms of player availability.

Why Bet The Nuggets
✅ The Nets are a shell of themselves in this home game. That will be the case for the foreseeable future. Kevin Durant remains out and Kyrie Irving remains ineligible to play in New York. That means it will be the James Harden show once again, and that is not necessarily a good thing. Harden is an elite player, and does well in a completely dominant role on offense. He is one of the few in the league equipped for it. That said, the players surrounding him are completely subpar when the other starts are absent. We saw the shortcomings from the rest of the roster just last night. The Nets were only able to muster 96 points in a loss to the lowly Lakers at home.
✅ The Nuggets are also coming off a back to back, making the short trip from Detroit to Brooklyn. They were missing both Will Barton and Jamychal Green last night, but should have both back on the court today. The Nuggers are also reliant on their star in Nikola Jokic, but have a better supporting cast around him. Jokic, like Harden, will rack up the statistics in this game. Not working in the Nets favor is center Nic Claxton being out. Jokic will lead a far more efficient offense than the one the other end of the court.
✅ I mentioned the Nets home struggles. They are currently at the worst point of the season, and could very well get worse. The Nets have lost six of their last eight at home. They truly are feeling the effects of having a “big three” when there are absences of those stars. The remainder of the roster is simply subpar, as should be expected when three players dominant the salary. Harden will likely fire off another big triple double in another losing effort.
