Celtics vs Bucks Game 4 Betting Pick
This game will be played at 7:30 PM ET at Fiserv Forum on Monday, May 9, 2022.
Why Bet The Bucks:
✅ The Bucks really slowed Jayson Tatum down in Game 3, as he shot 4/19 from the field in the first game of this series held in Milwaukee. While Tatum should be better in Game 4, the Celtics may not get as much as Jaylen Brown and Al Horford, which will end up benefiting the Bucks in the end.
✅ Giannis Antetokounmpo was getting whatever he wanted at the rim in Game 3, and should continue to do so in Game 4. Antetokounmpo scored 42 points on Saturday, and made 16 of his 30 field goal attempts despite going 1/6 from three-point range. His efficiency from inside the arc has been incredible, and will continue to be in a big spot for the Bucks.

✅ Milwaukee is getting the job done on the glass, which makes such a difference in a game that is close to a pick ‘em like this one. They grabbed 53 rebounds on Saturday in Game 3, compared to 47 for the Celtics, winning the offensive and defensive rebound categories in that contest. With this game expected to come down to the wire, the better rebounding team will have the slight edge needed to win.
Boston Celtics
The Boston Celtics came very close to coming back to beat the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 3 of this second round playoff series. After trailing by double digits, the Celtics dug in and made things tight down the stretch. They felt like they were done wrong at the very end of the game, as Marcus Smart was only given two free throws after what they thought was a shooting foul from three-point range. But the Celtics need to shake that off and focus on evening this series up on the road.
For the Celtics to do that, they are going to need more from Jayson Tatum, who really struggled in Game 3. Tatum made under 25% of his field goal attempts on Saturday, scoring just 10 points. He needs to do more offensively for the Celtics to avoid falling behind 3-1 against the defending champions.
Milwaukee Bucks
It was not easy down the stretch, but the Milwaukee Bucks got the job done in Game 3 to take a 2-1 series lead. At home in Game 4, the Bucks have a shot to take a 3-1 lead and give themselves three chances to close the Celtics out in Game 5 and beyond. To do that, the Bucks will need Jrue Holiday to play like he did in Game 3.
Holiday took a whopping 30 shots against the Celtics on Saturday, making just 11 of them. But he scored 25 points and his aggression is key to the success of the Bucks. Milwaukee is 2-0 in this series when Holiday scores 20 or more points, and they will likely need another 20-plus from Holiday to win on Monday night.
