Why Bet Ankalaev
✅ Exposure. The fact is Blachowicz has spent much more time in the spotlight, and many fans are unaware of what Ankalaev can do.
✅ Even before Procahazka won the title from Glover Texeira, Ankalaev was the uncrowned king at light heavyweight, and the best in the world.
✅ Blachowicz has had his championship level fraudulence on display for some time, and it is quite puzzling why he got this opportunity over Texeira.

Magomed Ankalaev vs Jan Blachowicz Main Event Preview
Magomed Ankalaev has long been a top light heavyweight, and he has fully proven it with every opportunity given. He is currently on a nine fight winning streak in the UFC, and really should have wins in all 10 of his UFC fights. His debut was a loss to Paul Craig via triangle that came with literally one second left in a fight that Ankalaev was going to walk away with a dominant decision win in.
Ankalaev’s three most recent wins have come against former title challengers, and have all come in dominant fashion. Ankalaev’s striking is top notch, and truly neutralizes his opponents. He has become masterful in winning striking exchanges, even with the some of the most dynamic strikers. He is extremely difficult to hit and always comes out ahead on volume landed, despite not necessarily being ahead on volume thrown.
Ankalaev is also a very strong wrestler, even though we do not see it perhaps as often as we should. Ankalaev has become such a tight and dominant striker, he has had little need to lean on his high end wrestling and top game in most spots. That wrestling game should be noted here however, as it will likely be the path of least resistance. Blachowicz is a tough enough striker, but we have seen him get stuch underneath fighters in each of his two most recent fights. No matter where the fight takes place, Ankalaev has the advantage and will begin what projects to be a long title reign.
