Why Bet The Patriots:
✅ Arizona is one of the worst teams in the NFL at winning home games. They are 1-6 at home on the season, and this is the second straight year they have played this poorly on their home field. Expect that trend to continue thanks to the Patriots.
✅ The Cardinals are one of the worst defensive teams in the NFL. They rank 31st in the league in scoring defense, and their porous defense will help Mac Jones and the Patriots perform at a higher level than usual.
✅ The Patriots are 6-6 on the season, but they have a positive point differential. Expect the Patriots to improve that point differential with a win in this contest.

New England Patriots
Last week, the New England Patriots lost meekly to the Buffalo Bills on Thursday Night Football. They scored just 10 points at home in that game, as Mac Jones and company could not get anything going against the stingy Buffalo defense. Here, the Patriots will hope that facing a vastly worse defense will help them get things going on the offensive end.
New England’s elite defense will be tested in this game, as they will be tasked with stopping DeAndre Hopkins and several other weapons for the Cardinals. The Patriots rank seventh in the league in points allowed, but they did struggle on the road against Justin Jefferson and the Vikings on Thanksgiving night not too long ago. Another showing like that, and the Patriots could become the only AFC East team to fall below .500.
Arizona Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals come into this game off of their bye week, as they joined the Carolina Panthers as the only teams on bye in Week 13. That bye may have come too late for the Cardinals, as they are four games below .500 heading into their final five games of the regular season. Needing to pile up wins to make the playoffs, the Cardinals will look to get off to a good start after the bye against the Patriots.
For the Cardinals to win this game, their defense simply has to be better than it was before the bye. Arizona has allowed 26.8 points per game on the season, just 0.2 points better than the last-place Lions in scoring defense. If the Cardinals do not bring one of their best defensive performances of the season, they could see their losing streak extended to three games.
