Padres vs Rockies Betting Pick
This game will be played at Coors Field at 3:10 PM ET on Sunday, June 19, 2022.
Why Bet The Rockies:
✅ The Rockies own a miserable .237/.293/.330 slash line and 81 OPS+ when hitting on the road. But when they are at Coors Field, the Rockies are slashing .279/.346/.445 to go with a .326 BABIP and 121 OPS+. They had 14 hits in that 10-4 thrashing of the Padres last Friday.
✅ Blake Snell (0-3; 5.04 ERA) will get the ball for the Padres and face the Rockies for the second time in 2022. Last Sunday, the 29-year-old lefty tossed six innings of a two-run ball in a no-decision against Colorado. Snell will have a much taller task in this one at Coors Field where he holds a poor 6.08 ERA and 1.72 WHIP in three career starts and 13.1 innings of work. Also, the Rockies boast a 121 OPS+ against the lefties in 2022.

✅ The Rockies’ bullpen is doing a surprisingly good job in June. Through 62.2 innings of work, it has compiled a 3.88 ERA, 2.96 FIP, .287 BABIP, and 0.29 HR/9. Colorado’s relievers have registered a pristine 1.64 ERA and 2.07 FIP over the last ten days of action (33 IP).
San Diego Padres
The Padres stopped their four-game winning streak on Friday, falling to 41-25 on the season. They were still topping the NL West, half a game ahead of the Los Angeles Dodgers and three and a half games above the San Francisco Giants.
San Diego has won eight of its previous 11 games and is 11-6 in its first 17 outings in June. The Padres have scored 108 runs on a .272/.337/.450 triple-slash in that 17-game stretch, though 31 runs have come through a couple of games against the Cubs at Wrigley Field in Chicago.
Colorado Rockies
The Rockies snapped their three-game skid on Friday, improving to 28-37 on the season. They also put an end to a seven-game losing streak at Coors Field, but the Rockies remained bottom of the NL West.
Antonio Senzatela will take the hill Sunday and search for his first win since April. The 27-year-old righty is 2-3 with an underwhelming 4.79 ERA and 1.81 WHIP in ten starts (47 IP) this season.
