Why Bet The Dodgers:
✅ The Dodgers are the far better team statistically, posting the top record in baseball (5.19 runs per game) and the second best defensive club (3.31 runs allowed per contest). Colorado has a potent offense (13th at 4.54 runs per game), but are 28th in runs allowed per game (5.52).
✅ The Dodgers start left-hander Tyler Anderson, who has been perfect this season (8-0). ✅ The Dodgers are rolling entering Sunday’s battle against the Atlanta Braves, going 7-3 in their last 10. They are 24-14 on the road and have the second-best record in the National League (44-26). Colorado is just 19-19 at home and are four and six in their last 10.
Los Angeles Dodgers
The Dodgers were taking on the Atlanta Braves at the time this preview was written, Los Angeles is played very well of late, going 7-3 in their last 10, including winning four of their last five. This is a club that is only average in homeruns, 10th overall with 86, but they are fourth in slugging percentage (.428) and first in OPS (.759).
Anderson has been great for Los Angeles but has struggled in two of his last three starts, allowing eight total runs in his last 16.1 innings pitched.
Colorado Rockies
The Rockies lost to the Minnesota Twins on Sunday, 6-3, their fifth loss in their last six games. The Rockies open this three-game series at home where they are just 19-19, but are 4-8 in their 12 home contests in June.
The Colorado pitching staff is a disaster, 28th in runs allowed per game (5.52), 30th in opponent batting average (.276) and 29th in opponent OPS (.779). Chad Kuhll has pitched well, however, posting a 4-5 record with a 3.95 ERA in 13 starts.
