Tiger-Cats vs Stampeders Betting Preview
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have a chance to solidify their chances for a playoff berth, but it’s not going to be easy to walk into McMahon Stadium and come away with a win. Hamilton has played a few good games this season, but they haven’t been able to put together back-to-back wins all season. The Stampeders are still in a battle with British Columbia for the No. 2 spot in the West, so they have something to play for here.
Dane Evans has thrown 15 touchdowns for Hamilton, while also throwing 15 interceptions, so he’s made things happen. They’re just not always good things. The Tiger-Cats are No. 8 in rushing yards and No. 4 in passing, so they have to get things done through the air, which happens to be Calgary’s weak link on defense, although the Stampeders have been the proverbial ‘bend, don’t break’ defense all season long, ranking No. 8 in yards allowed but No. 2 in points allowed.
The Stampeders have won three of their last four and are hoping to catch the Lions for the No. 2 spot, which may not be easy, as the Lions have two games with league-leading Winnipeg, who has clinched the No. 1 seed throughout the playoffs and will likely rest players, along with a game against Edmonton.
But the Stampeders can’t worry about things they have no control over and simply need to go out and win and let things fall where they may. Jake Maier has cooled off a little at quarterback after taking over for Bo Levi Mitchell but is still getting the job done with 10 touchdowns and four interceptions. The Stampeders are leading the league in rushing, while Hamilton is leading the league in rushing defense.

Tiger-Cats vs Stampeders Pick & Prediction
The Tiger-Cats should play with a little more desperation than the Stampeders, but it’s unlikely that’s going to be enough against the Stampeders, who are coming off a bye week. Hamilton is a league-worst 5-10 against the spread so far this season and the only winless road team in the CFL.
