Roughriders vs Stampeders Betting Preview
The Saskatchewan Roughriders would like nothing more than to see this season put behind them and move forward to 2023. Saskatchewan looked like a definite playoff team in the early going of the season, starting off 4-1, only to turn around and drop their last six games. Granted their schedule was a lot tougher than in the early going, having three games with Winnipeg, but it’s losing to Edmonton and Hamilton that were too much to overcome.
The Roughriders gave the ball to Mason Fine last week and he made some nice plays but ended with just 196 passing yards in the game. There’s no reason Saskatchewan won’t turn to him for this one just to get another look how he performs in game situations.
The Stampeders will at British Columbia next week, but don’t expect Calgary coach Dave Dickenson to sit players too much in this one. He said last week his team wasn’t good enough to be able to rest players, so it’s hard to say if he’s using that as a motivating factor or he believes that.
Calgary may get Bo Levi Mitchell a few snaps before the playoffs and there’s a chance Tommy Stevens will also see some game time after throwing just four passes all season. The Stampeders still have their running game and that should be enough here.

Roughriders vs Stampeders Pick & Prediction
Saskatchewan can talk about playing for pride or playing for momentum for the offseason but there’s no denying the team turned in a massive choke job down the stretch. If they couldn’t get the job done when the games mattered, I can’t see them doing anything different here.
