Tiger-Cats vs Redblacks Betting Preview
The Tiger-Cats looked to be dead in the water six weeks ago, but a 4-1 run coupled with a collapse by Saskatchewan has Hamilton headed for the playoffs despite an unsightly 7-10 record. The Tiger-Cats defeated Ottawa 30-27 last week when the game was meaningful, but you have to wonder how much effort they will put forth in this one.
The Tiger-Cats did get both quarterbacks into the game quite a bit, so if Hamilton decides to give its backups extended playing time, there might not be the drop-off in quarterback play that you would expect. Hamilton could split the time between the two, knowing theyโre set if something happens to either player, or they could also get Jalen Morton some playing time and keep Matt Shiltz and Dane Evans on the bench some.
The Redblacks have played hard down the stretch, but really havenโt been rewarded for it too much. Their backers have fared a little better, as the Redblacks have three straight covers, despite going 1-2 in those games. There will certainly be some incentive for Ottawa to win its finale, as the Redblacks are 0-8 at home on the season.
Hamilton is just 1-7 on the road this year, so Ottawa or Edmonton are the only two teams in which theyโd be made a road favorite. The Redblacks led 21-10 in the second quarter last week before things went south in a hurry and the Tiger-Cats won on a last-play field goal.

Tiger-Cats vs Redblacks Pick & Prediction
This is one of those games where Ottawa has a decided edge in motivation, as the Redblacks are playing with revenge from last week and also trying not to go through the season winless at home. The Tiger-Cats advanced to the playoffs and donโt see them too interested in this one.
