Brewers vs Giants Betting Pick
This game will be played at Oracle Park at 10:15 PM ET on Friday, July 15, 2022.
Why Bet The Giants:
✅ San Francisco started July with five straight losses. The Giants are far away from their 2021 form, but the reigning NL West champions won four of their five contests prior to Thursday’s battle against Milwaukee while scoring 35 runs on a terrific .307/.370/.570 triple-slash. San Francisco has a sturdy .400 wOBA and 163 wRC+ in its last 200 plate appearances.
✅ The Brewers have won just two of their previous seven games. They’ve scored only 24 runs in the process while slashing a poor .218/.295/.369 through 252 plate appearances. Christian Yelich is 6-for-29 in July, while Rowdy Tellez is hitting a catastrophic .122/.200/.293 over his last 41 at-bats.

✅ In the last ten days, 20.7 percent of the Brewers bullpen’s flyballs went yard. Milwaukee’s relievers have tossed 29.1 innings in that span, tallying a troublesome 4.60 ERA, 4.85 FIP, .333 BABIP, and 4.6 BB/9.
Milwaukee Brewers
The 49-40 Brewers carried the NL Central-best record into Thursday’s game at Oracle Park. They were just a couple of games ahead of the St. Louis Cardinals. Milwaukee just split a two-game road set against the Minnesota Twins, so the Brewers are now winless in four straight series.
Brandon Woodruff will take the hill Friday. The 29-year-old righty is 7-3 with a serviceable 4.01 ERA and 1.14 WHIP in 12 starts (60.2 innings pitched) this season. Woodruff has a sharp 2.12 ERA and 0.46 FIP in his previous three starts (17 IP), but he yielded three earned runs on four hits and three walks in a no-decision against Pittsburgh this past Saturday.
San Francisco Giants
The Giants sat at 45-42 on Thursday, occupying the third spot in the NL West. They were only one game behind the bottom wild card in the National League. The Giants have struggled since mid-June and will have to improve a lot following the All-Star break if they want to reach the playoffs.
Alex Wood will toe the slab Friday and try to string another strong display. The 31-year-old lefty is 6-7 with a 4.43 ERA and 1.27 WHIP in 17 starts (85.1 IP) in 2022 and has a disappointing first half of the season. Still, he’s allowed only one run on seven hits over his last two outings while striking out 12 across 12 innings.
