Another day with just a single game in the WNBA, as the Las Vegas Aces (10-3) visit the Minnesota Lynx (6-7).

Las Vegas at Minnesota Betting Odds
The Aces are favored by 7 points and the total has climbed slightly to 170. Las Vegas is -300 on the moneyline.
Las Vegas Aces
Las Vegas is a solid team and the Aces were my preseason pick to win the WNBA title and they still look very much like a contender. The Aces have a solid player in the middle in Liz Cambage, who scores 15 points a game and grabs a team-high 8.5 rebounds. A’ja Wilson leads Las Vegas in scoring with 18.5 points per game and also grabs 8.1 rebounds per game. The Aces have four other players who average in double figures, making Las Vegas one of the deepest teams in the league.
The Aces lead the league in scoring with 91.2 points per game and also leading the league with a 48.1% mark from the field. Las Vegas is third in the league in 3-point shooting and third in free throw shooting, which is big as the Aces lead the league in free throw attempts.
Minnesota Lynx
The Lynx started off slow, but have been a better team as of late, having won six of their last 10 games. Minnesota has six players who average double figures, with Napeesha Collier leading the team in scoring. Minnesota also has a solid player in the paint in Slyvia Fowles, who gives up a little size to Cambage, but may be able to neutralize here a bit, which would keep the Lynx from having to pack the inside.
The Lynx are at home for the first time since June 15, while the Aces have been off for a week. Minnesota is 4-3 at home for the season.

Laas Vegas at Minnesota Pick
As I mentioned in the NBA article, I began to slump in the WNBA at the same time the NBA picked up and one of the reasons for the WNBA slump is games like this one, which are pretty much a coin toss. My numbers have this one 85-83 for the Aces. The over is tempting with the Aces leading the league in pace and Minnesota at No. 5, but will follow the numbers and take a stab on the Lynx +7.
