Why Bet On Arizona:
✅ Cal might be the worst Power 5 team in college basketball this season. They are 0-8 and have a 15-point loss to an underwhelming USC squad on their conference resume already. Expect another poor performance from the Golden Bears here.
✅ This is an ideal get right spot for the Wildcats, after they dropped their conference opener to a tough Utah team. Arizona averages 35.5 points per game more than Cal on the season and the Wildcats will be fully able to flex their offensive muscle in this game.
✅ Kerr Kriisa is averaging 7.7 assists per game this season, which is 1.4 fewer assists per game than the entire Cal roster. Arizona’s superior ball movement will be a key to them blowing out the Bears here.

California Golden Bears
California has yet to win a game this season, going 0-8 in its first eight outings of the 2022-23 season. They have lost to Power 5 teams like USC and TCU, and non-Power 5 teams like Texas State and Southern along the way. Here, the Golden Bears will look for a massive upset to claim their first win of the season, but that is a highly unlikely outcome.
So far this year, Cal is averaging 57.5 points per game, but allowing 65.9 points per game. Their offensive ineptitude is going to be a huge problem against an Arizona team capable of lighting up the scoreboard with the best teams in the country this year.
Arizona Wildcats
For Arizona, this game against Cal is a great chance to get back on track after their first loss of the season earlier in the week. Arizona fell in a tight game to Utah, whose defense caused Arizona problems for the first time all year. Now, the Wildcats may not need to put up a big offensive number against one of the most offensively inept teams in college basketball.
Fortunately for Arizona, they will likely put up big offensive numbers in this game anyway. Oumar Ballo was great against Utah even in a loss, and will likely feast on a California frontcourt that has struggled to contain anyone in front of them.
