Giants Still Searching For Answers At QB
The New York Giants released quarterback Daniel Jones before their Week 12 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jones’ replacement, Tommy DeVito, didn’t fare any better than Jones as the Giants scored just seven points in a 34-7 loss. Things are not likely to get much better for the Giants offensively for the foreseeable future. That means their defense will have to put together a gem of a performance in this game for New York to have a chance to leave Arlington with a win.
Cowboys Hoping to Rush to Second Straight Division Win
In Week 12, the Dallas Cowboys pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the week, defeating the Washington Commanders on the road with Cooper Rush as their quarterback. Rush had 247 passing yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions. It is that mistake-free football that makes Rush a respectable replacement for Dak Prescott. If Rush can avoid turning the ball over again in this game, the Cowboys could get a second win in a row against an NFC East opponent.
Giants vs Cowboys Best Bet
At this point in the season, walking on hot coals sounds more appealing than betting on the New York Giants. We will take the Cowboys to cover the number at home on Thanksgiving, as they should have their way on defense against a Giants offense that simply does not have the level of quarterback play necessary to have consistent success in the NFL right now.
