Colts Look to Rebound On Offense In Week 13
In Week 12, the Indianapolis Colts were completely shut down offensively in a 24-6 loss to the Detroit Lions. Anthony Richardson was visibly and vocally frustrated at times in that game, as the Lions defense held him to just 11 completions in 28 pass attempts. Indianapolis appears to be stuck in a spot where they need to play Richardson to see what they have in him, but they don’t appear to have much in him based on how poorly he has played this year.
Patriots Hoping to Avoid 10th Loss Of the Season
The New England Patriots have lost two games in a row coming into this week, after losing 34-15 to the Miami Dolphins in their last outing. New England is 3-9 this season and they could really use more from their running game to try and avoid falling to 3-10 after this contest. New England had just 86 rushing yards as a team against the Dolphins, putting way too much on the plate of Drake Maye on offense. It will be interesting to see how the Patriots approach this game offensively and if they can balance things out on offense a bit against the struggling Colts.
Colts vs Patriots Betting Pick
There isn’t a lot to like about either of these teams on the offensive side of the ball heading into Colts vs Patriots on Sunday afternoon. But the floor is much higher for Drake Maye than it is for Anthony Richardson at this point in time. For that reason, we will take the points with the Patriots, as Maye is a lot less likely to cost his team the game than his counterpart in Richardson.
