Bucks vs Bulls Betting Pick
This game will be played at United Center at 7:30 PM ET on Friday, March 4, 2022.
Why Bet The Bucks:
✅ The Chicago Bulls are on the second leg of a back to back ahead of this game, after losing to the Atlanta Hawks on the road on Thursday. The Bulls struggled to get a stop in the fourth quarter, leading to their demise in that game. Against a high-energy team like the Bucks, the Bulls could run out of gas again here.
✅ From a matchup perspective, the Bucks should be able to slow down the mid-range game of DeMar DeRozan. They can put Giannis Antetokounmpo on DeRozan, and let the length of the Greek Freak disrupt a shot that is difficult for most players to contest. Combine that with Bobby Portis’ mobility at the center position making him capable of staying attached to Nikola Vucevic, and the Bucks should be able to slow down Chicago.

✅ Milwaukee has won 13 of the last 14 games against the Bulls in the regular season, dating back to the 2017-2018 season. Expect that trend to continue as the Bucks come into this game with a rest advantage and a talent advantage over a Chicago team that has struggled against other elite teams in the NBA.
Milwaukee Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks are coming off of a very impressive win, beating the Miami Heat in the final seconds of their matchup on Wednesday. Milwaukee took down the team with the best record in the Eastern Conference in that game, and will look to get another huge win in this matchup. In order to do that, they will need to figure out a way to slow down DeMar DeRozan during DeRozan’s MVP caliber season.
For the Bucks to slow DeRozan down, they will likely utilize the length of Giannis Antetokounmpo. Giannis has the agility to stick with DeRozan while he sets up his mid-range shots, and the length and athleticism to contest his shots without having to sell out on pump fakes. Late in the game, that should give the Bucks an advantage on the defensive end of the floor.
Chicago Bulls
The Chicago Bulls come into this game against Milwaukee having lost three straight games. They are also on the second leg of a back to back, after they lost to the Atlanta Hawks in Atlanta on Thursday. Chicago had a chance to win that game down the stretch, but they could not stop Trae Young and Bogdan Bogdanovic, while the Bulls could not get enough buckets down the stretch to keep up with that duo.
In this game, the Bulls will need to figure out how to prevent Giannis Antetokounmpo from getting into the paint. Committing too many defenders to walling off the paint could set up open shots for other players from the perimeter, while not committing enough help to Giannis could set up easy buckets for the Green Freak. This dilemma is not unique to the Bulls, but it is the dilemma that the Bulls have to deal with on Friday night.
