Heat vs Bulls
The Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls face off in Miami. This matchup pits the current top two seeds in the Eastern Conference against one another. The race atop the Eastern Conference remains a tight one. The Heat have inched themselves a game up on the Bulls since the All Star break. They will be looking to stretch that out to two games as they eye a second NBA Finals run in the last three seasons.
Both teams will have absences in the back court for this matchup. The Bulls will continue to be without Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso. Victor Oladipo remains out for the Heat, but will make his season debut in the next couple of weeks. Kyle Lowry is also out for the Heat on Monday.
The Bulls will be facing an unfamiliar test in this matchup. That is a road game. The Bulls are leaving a cushy part of their schedule. They have not had to play on the road since February 9th. They have played eight of their last nine at home. Additionally they have only played one playoff team in an away game since January 21st.

Why Bet The Heat
✅ The Heat remain one of the hotter teams in the league, and at the right time. They have won eight of their last nine games overall. This recent surge has come on the heels of the return of center Bam Adebayo to the lineup, and ultimately his return to form. Adebayo missed a month and half of action from late November to mid January. He was completely back to his old self by the time February rolled around, and arguably at the best he’s ever been.
His February averages have seen significant increases over season averages in shots attempted and made, points. rebounds and blocks. The offensive end contribution matches the stingy frontcourt production allowed at the other end.
✅ The Heat remain one of the best defensive teams in the league, and have only stepped up in that regard in recent games. They have held opponents to 110 points or fewer in fourteen of their last nineteen games overall (despite a pair of overtime games). The slow paced Heat allow fewer scoring opportunities for both teams, and generally see their offensive efficiency outduel their opponents. It should be noted that the Bulls have won just three games this season when scoring 110 or fewer points. They have just one such win since mid November.
Getting More Difficult For Chicago
✅ The Bulls are just a middling road team overall, instead doing their best work on their home floor. They have now left the soft spot in their schedule and face a much more daunting schedule down the stretch. In fact, their remaining schedule is the most difficult in the league. The Bulls have had increasing struggles when the more difficult matchups present themselves. They have lost five straight on the road against current playoff teams. Not included in those five straight was a 26 point drubbing the Heat put on them in the first matchup in Miami this season.
