Warriors vs 76ers Betting Pick
This game will be played at Wells Fargo Center at 8:30 PM ET on Saturday, December 11, 2021.
Why Bet The Warriors:
✅ The ball movement of the Warriors is going to be too much for the Sixers to handle. Tyrese Maxey is a good defender in the starting lineup for Philly, but Danny Green and Seth Curry aren’t exactly lockdown defenders. Against the Warriors, everyone needs to play good defense, and the Sixers just don’t have the bodies at their disposal right now without Ben Simmons.
✅ Joel Embiid is going to get his, but the Warriors are able to throw a combo of Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green at Tobias Harris in this game. That will mean that this game could come down to whether or not the combo of Green, Curry and Maxey will be enough to beat the Warriors. More than likely, it will not be.

✅ Philadelphia is a miserable 3-8 against the spread at home this season. They simply have not been able to live up to the expectations set for them with their current lineup, and that isn’t entirely likely to change against the Warriors. Golden State, meanwhile, is 6-3 against the spread on the road, which is the second best cover percentage in the league in road games to this point in the season.
Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors come into this Saturday night with a 21-4 record on the season, which is the best record in the NBA to this point in the year. Steph Curry is averaging 27.5 points per game, for a team that is top-three in the NBA in points and assists per game. They will bring their superior ball movement to Philadelphia for this contest, where Steph Curry takes on his brother, Seth Curry.
For the Warriors to have success in this game, outside of their ball movement and shooting, the Warriors will have to defend Joel Embiid. Kevon Looney has done admirably against other elite bigs, but is tasked with guarding one of the two best bigs in the league on Saturday night. If the Warriors are going to drop to 21-5 after this game, that matchup will be the reason why.
Philadelphia 76ers
The Philadelphia 76ers are a disappointing 14-12 so far this season, finding themselves in seventh place in the Eastern Conference at this point in time. And the Sixers won’t be able to expect anything to come easy on Saturday night against the Warriors. While they should have an advantage with Embiid taking on an inferior frontcourt, the Sixers have shown that they may have issues defensively in this matchup.
Philadelphia looked awful on defense against the Utah Jazz on Thursday night, allowing 118 points to a Jazz team on the second night of a back to back. Here, the Sixers run the risk of another poor defensive showing against a Warriors team that has proven that they can score from anywhere on the floor.
