Why Bet The Over:
✅ Both of the top stars in this game are out, as Ja Morant and Steph Curry are unavailable for their respective teams. But both sides have elite shooters that will offset the lack of Curry and Morant on each side. Desmond Bane and DeAnthony Melton have carried the scoring load for the Grizzlies, who have scored 120 or more in six of their last seven games.
✅ Golden State is on the second leg of a back to back here, which will likely negatively impact their defense coming into this contest with the Grizzlies. The Warriors gave up 123 points to the Wizards on Sunday, and will likely cough up a high point total again here when they face Memphis.

✅ Memphis plays at the sixth fastest pace in the NBA according to NBA Stats, which will help the game go over the total here. They will wring a few extra possessions out of this contest, which will help them and the Warriors combine for over 222.5 points even without the two biggest names suiting up.
Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors have been struggling mightily of late, which has coincided with the absence of Steph Curry in their lineup. Steve Kerr’s team has lost five of its last six contests, and has fallen into third place in the Western Conference standings. Now, the Warriors will look to pick up a win to avoid the threat of falling further in the standings and really harming their title hopes.
In order to do that, the Warriors are going to need to dedicate themselves to guarding the perimeter in this game. Melton and Bane are the top two shooting threats for this team from the perimeter of late, but the Grizzlies have a host of players who can hurt Golden State from the outside. The top priority will have to be preventing those shooters from getting going in this contest.
Memphis Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies have responded wonderfully to the loss of Ja Morant of late, winning eight out of their last nine games and moving up to second place in the Western Conference. Memphis has been operating at an elite level offensively over the last couple of weeks, which has been surprising given that Morant has not been there to provide the penetration and pace that he is known for. Desmond Bane has been a huge reason for that sustained success.
Over his last 10 games, Bane has averaged 21.6 points per game and has shot 49% from three-point range. While it is impossible to fully make up for the loss of Morant in the Memphis lineup, players like Bane breaking out and finding success has been huge in keeping the Memphis offense rolling while the Memphis MVP candidate is nursing his injury.
