Mavericks vs Heat Betting Pick
This game will be played at FTX Arena at 7:30 PM ET on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.
Why Bet The Heat:
✅ The Miami Heat blew the Dallas Mavericks out in Dallas earlier this season, beating them by 15 in a game that wasn’t that close for much of the contest. With Tyler Herro and Tim Hardaway Jr. both out for this game, after appearing in that game, the injury situation for this matchup is a wash on Tuesday night, and the Heat should do just fine here.
✅ Miami is one of the best home teams in the NBA this season, going a very impressive 19-6 at home on the year. Dallas, meanwhile, is just 13-13 on the road during the 2021-2022 season. Expect the Heat to pick up their 20th win on their home floor this season as the All-Star break approaches.

✅ Miami comes into this game having won five straight games, including road wins over the Hornets, Wizards, and Pelicans. Dallas on the other hand comes into Miami having just lost the second game of a two-game series to a depleted Los Angeles Clippers squad, after having just traded away Kristaps Porzingis.
Dallas Mavericks
The Dallas Mavericks have won four of their last five games, having a four-game win streak snapped by the Los Angeles Clippers in their last time out. Dallas is in the playoff spots in the West, but one has to wonder what their trade with the Washington Wizards will do for them in the second half of the season. With the team trading Kristaps Porzingis for two backup players, one has to wonder if this move was the right move for a Dallas team that could contend out West.
In order for the Mavericks to pull out a win in this game, they will need to be on point on the defensive end. Dallas, surprisingly, has played plenty of defense this season and even has a better scoring defense than the Heat this year. But they will be challenged at all five spots on the floor in this game against the well-rounded Heat.
Miami Heat
Miami enters this game having won five straight contests, including its most recent one at home against the Brooklyn Nets. Miami had to overcome Kyrie Irving in that game, as he was eligible to play in the state of Florida. Here, the Heat will look to get the better of another star point guard in Luka Doncic.
The Heat will need to take advantage of their superior play on the interior in this game against the Mavericks. Bam Adebayo should be able to get around and through Maxi Kleber at will in this game, but that level of execution is not a given and the Heat big man will have to play at or near his best for the team to run their win streak up to six games.
