Bulls vs Hawks Betting Pick
This game will be played at State Farm Arena at 7:00 PM ET on Thursday, March 3, 2022.
Why Bet The Hawks:
✅ The Atlanta Hawks are a different beast when playing in front of the home fans. They’ve dropped three of their last six games overall, and all three losses have come on the road. Atlanta is only 2-8 straight up and ATS in its previous ten showings away from home. On the other hand, the Hawks have gone 10-2 SU and ATS over their last 12 outings at State Farm Arena. They’ve won six of their past seven home tilts against the Eastern Conference.
✅ The Bulls lean on DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine a lot, and the Hawks should have enough firepower in their backcourt to deal with those guys. Trae Young has amassed 72 points and 17 assists over his last two outings. He’s scored a whopping 41 points in each of his previous two appearances at home. Bogdan Bogdanovic has been terrific over his last seven games, averaging 21.1 points on 52.8% shooting from the field and 42.1% from beyond the arc.

✅ Neither of these two teams can brag with a stout defense, so the Hawks need a strong offensive performance to outlast the Bulls. Atlanta boasts the second-highest offensive rating in the league, tallying 114.9 points per 100 possessions. The Hawks’ offense ranks fifth in field goal percentage (46.8%) and first in 3-point percentage (37.4%). Also, Atlanta commits only 12.6 turnovers per 100 possessions (1st in the NBA).
Chicago Bulls
The Bulls put an end to their six-game winning streak with a 116-110 home loss to the Memphis Grizzlies last Saturday. Two days later, they suffered a 112-99 defeat at the Miami Heat, failing to cover a 4.5-point spread.
DeMar DeRozan has gone bonkers as of late, posting 35.6 points a night over his previous ten games. However, DeRozan slowed down in that tough road matchup with the Heat, finishing with 18 points on 7-for-16 shooting from the field, while the Bulls went only 7-for-29 from beyond the 3-point line.
Atlanta Hawks
The Hawks’ iffy form continues, as they’ve dropped two of their three contests since the All-Star break. Last Tuesday, the Hawks blew a 17-point lead at TD Garden in Boston, suffering a 107-98 defeat to the Celtics as 6.5-point road underdogs.
Atlanta shot only 7-for-31 from beyond the arc against the Celtics. Trae Young had 31 points, while Bogdan Bogdanovic added 25 off the bench, but the rest of the team didn’t show up. The Hawks are without John Collins, who’s missed the last six games due to a foot injury.
