Redblacks at Alouettes Betting Preview
The Redblacks are the last winless team in the CFL, but it’s not as though they’ve completely stunk it up. The Redblacks have been outscored by 36 points through their six games, and had a couple of close calls, but haven’t been able to break into the win column.
Caleb Evans is looking better as the team’s quarterback after taking over the injured Jeremiah Masoli and has rushed for two touchdowns both games, while throwing for 500 yards and two touchdowns and a pair of interceptions. If he continues to improve in the passing department, the Redblacks will get a definite boost.

The Argonauts got an extra day to rest, hosting a rare Sunday game in the CFL, which was needed after last week’s game with Saskatchewan was pushed back a day due to the Roughriders and their COVID issues.
Mcleod Bethel-Thompson has come to life a bit in the last couple of weeks, throwing for 926 yards and six TDs over his past three games. The Argonauts are running the ball well with Andrew Harris, who is second in the league in rushing, but has yet to find the endzone.

Redblacks vs. Argonauts Pick & Prediction
Ottawa has lost by more than a touchdown just once this season, so they’ve been competitive for the most part. Still, this is a team which had some higher expectations coming into the season after getting Masoli, who is going to miss a few more months if the Redblacks don’t decide to just shut him down.
One thing Evans has been able to do so far is getting Ottawa to the end zone, with the Redblacks averaging 28 yards in his two starts compared to 18 points in the team’s first four games of the season.
The Argonauts have moved into sole possession of first place in the East with a 3-2 record. Every other team in the division has a losing record and the Argonauts have been outscored by an average of five points per game over the course of the season.
Both teams are capable of making some plays on offense, while neither defense is anything special, so this could be an entertaining game with some big plays.
