In Game 1 between the Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics, the Bucks used their physicality to dominate the Celtics on the interior. Now, the banged up Celtics will need to win on their home floor, or they could be facing an 0-2 hold heading back to the home of the defending champions. In our NBA predictions for Tuesday night, we look at Bucks vs Celtics Game 2 in a contest that feels like a must win for Boston.

Bucks vs Celtics Game 2 Betting Pick
This game will be played at TD Garden at 7:00 PM ET on Tuesday, May 3, 2022.
Why Bet The Celtics:
✅ The Celtics made just 10 two-point shots in the first game of this series against the Bucks. A lot of that had to do with the physicality of the Bucks, but that is also an unsustainably low number of two-point field goals from Milwaukee. Expect the Celtics to shoot a more normal percentage from the field and for that percentage to help them even this series at home.
✅ The Milwaukee bench shot 6/12 from three-point range in Game 1, with Grayson Allen and Pat Connaughton both having solid games from beyond the arc. While they are both good shooters, they are not consistently 50% shooters from long range. Expect them to cool off somewhat and for the Celtics to benefit from that.

✅ No player on the Celtics scored more than 21 points in Game 1, while only Jayson Tatum scored into the teens or better for Boston. Game 1 was just an anomaly from this Boston team on the offensive end of the floor, and they should be expected to perform better in every facet of the game offensively on Tuesday.
Milwaukee Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks manhandled the Boston Celtics in the first game of this Eastern Conference second round series. They completely shut down the Celtics in the paint and made things difficult for them every time the Celtics possessed the basketball. The question going into Game 2 is whether or not the Bucks can improve on the offensive end of the floor in their own right.
Milwaukee shot just 41% in their own right in the first game of this series, as the Boston defense bothered them as well. Both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday failed to make half of their field goal attempts, as the Celtics defense did a decent job despite the final score. With Boston having everything to play for tonight, the Bucks will need to be sharper on the offensive end and cannot afford to rest on their laurels.
Boston Celtics
For the Boston Celtics, Game 1 of this second round series was a disaster, as they failed to hit the 90 point mark in the game. To make matters worse, Jaylen Brown is still battling injury while Marcus Smart suffered a shoulder and quad injury in the first game of the series. In Game 2, the Celtics will need to play better basketball on the offensive end, while maintaining the same defensive intensity that they had in the series opener.
Boston shot just 33% in the first game of this series with the Bucks, which can be viewed in one of two ways. The first is that the Celtics are in real trouble, as the Bucks defense caused a lot of those missed shots. But the second is that the Celtics are unlikely to shoot that badly again in a game in this series, as that is an unsustainably low number for an NBA team. Game 2 will go a long way in determining which of those takeaways is correct.
