Group H will end Monday’s action with Portugal battling Uruguay. The Portuguese got off to a winning start over Ghana, while Uruguay played South Korea to a scoreless draw. Hopefully this game has some offense, but there is a real chance these managers don’t allow their teams to play to their strengths. Below is my World Cup pick for Portugal vs Uruguay.

Why Bet Portugal -107
✅ I believe Portugal will continue to attack and the old Uruguay defense will not be able to keep up.
✅ Uruguay does not seem cohesive in the attack and they will not be able to put enough goals together to compete with this Portugal squad.

Portugal
Last time out, Portugal got their World Cup campaign started with a 3-2 win against Ghana. Cristiano Ronaldo made history as the first man to score in five World Cups, and Portugal were the beneficiaries of some interesting referring, to get the win.
Portugal got the scoring started in the 65th minute after Ronaldo converted a soft penalty. Andrew Ayew tied it up in the 73rd minute, but two goals in two minutes gave Portugal a 3-1 lead in the 80th minute. Joao Felix and Rafael Leao slotted home the goals after brilliant passes from Bruno Fernandes. Leao appeared to be offsides on his goal, but the VAR technology disagreed. Ghana got a goal back thanks to Osman Bukari in the 89th minute and had a real chance to steal a point at the end, but Portugal held on for all three points.
Uruguay
Uruguay opened their 2022 Word Cup with a painful 0-0 draw against South Korea. If you want to show a video to people so they do not want watch soccer ever again, make them watch this game. Neither team had a shot on goal, but Uruguay did seem the more dangerous of the two.
Diego Godin hit the post off a header in the 43rd minute and Fede Valverde almost won it in the 90th minute, but his shot smacked off the left post. Regardless, both teams were clearly playing for one point and that is what they walked away with.
