The NFL Wild Card weekend betting slate begins on Saturday afternoon with an NFC West rivalry showdown between the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers. San Francisco plays host as division champions against Seattle, who needed a Week 18 overtime win over the Los Angeles Rams to punch their ticket into the postseason. Here, we put together a Seahawks vs 49ers parlay for Wild Card weekend.
The matchup between the Niners and Seahawks presents plenty of interesting storylines but none more important than the return of Deebo Samuel. Samuel was taken off the injury report by the Niners early this week and his return gives the Seahawks defense plenty to think about as well as NFL player prop bettors factoring in the presence of Deebo into their handicapping.
Will Deebo take away from the rest of the Niners skill position studs or will his presence simply add to an already explosive unit? Let’s answer that question while taking a look at three of the best bets to build a tasty Wild Card Same Game Parlay.

Head to Head
Teams Last 10
Pick 1: 49ers ML (-500)
The San Francisco 49ers moneyline is juiced to -500 odds for good reason. It is very unlikely they will lose to a Seahawks team they beat easily on two ocassions this season.
San Francisco allowed just 20 points over the two games against Seattle as their defense dominated on their way to clinching the NFC West. With homefield advantage along with the return of Deebo Samuel, the Niners are a safe bet to roll over the Seahawks and add some value to Wild Card weekend parlays. Even if it is only a -500 add to a ticket, it is a safe one.

Pick 2: Christian McCaffrey Over 115.5 Rushing & Receiving Yards (-115)
McCaffrey’s production could take a slight dip with Samuel receiving touches in his return but 115.5 combined yards from scrimmage is a fair number the talented dual purpose back should clear.
The Seahawks allowed McCaffrey to register 108 rushing yards and 30 receiving yards in their December meeting. McCaffrey also had a near 200 yard day from scrimmage in his last full game of snaps in Week 17 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Expect another big day for McCaffrey, even with Deebo back.

Pick 3: Brock Purdy Over 227.5 Passing Yards (-110)
Brock Purdy continues to improve each week as the 49ers underdog rookie quarterback. The third string to leader of a Super Bowl contender storyline is one of the best of the season and Purdy’s play has his team still feeling good about their championship chances.
Since taking over the San Francisco offense in Week 14, Purdy leads all passers with five wins, 11 touchdown passes, and a 119.0 passer rating. That sturdy play allowed the Niners to keep on trucking and earn a high seeding for the NFC Playoffs.
Purdy threw for 217 yards and two passing touchdowns in the win in Seattle. His two games after that saw him break over 230 yards of passing yardage on both occasions, including a 284 yard day in the Week 17 win over the Raiders.
Playing the Seattle Seahawks at home with the return of Samuel as a receiving option, Purdy should clear this passing yardage total. Expect a big day from the late round rookie who can add to his growing legacy with a win in his playoff debut.

Seahawks vs 49ers Preview
The Niners closed out the regular season on a double digit winning streak. Winners of their last ten games, head coach Kyle Shanahan’s team will be bringing plenty of confidence to their playoff run but one loss could derail what was a phenomenal second half of the year.
Seattle finished the year with a respectable 9-8 record that was just good enough to sneak into the playoffs. However, spread bettors were burned time and time again if they backed the Seahawks over the second half of the season. The Seahawks covered just one of their final eight games down the stretch, calling into question if they will be able to cover the 9.5 points on Saturday.
9.5 is a key number as oddsmakers feel this game will hover near the double digit mark. The Niners won seven of the ten games during their season ending winning streak by double digits.
Under bettors will be encouraged by a couple of betting notes for this matchup. Seattle scored an average of just 10 points in the two regular season games against the Niners and allowed just 11 points per game in their final two games of the season to get to the playoffs. With an offense that is also averaging just 16.3 points per game over their last four outings, there is a lot to like about backing the under on the 42.5 point total.
The Seahawks will need a much better performance from Geno Smith than his showing against the Rams if they are to upset the Niners. Smith threw two interceptions and just one touchdown in Week 18 as his poor play nearly cost his team their spot in the playoffs.
