This season has been a turbulent one for Marquez Valdes-Scantling of the Kansas City Chiefs. He has been a scapegoat for the Chiefs at times this season, dropping passes in crucial spots, but he has also made some big plays in the postseason that have helped the Chiefs advance to Super Bowl 58. As a part of our in-depth preview of Super Bowl LVIII, we look at the Marquez Valdes-Scantling player props that are on the board and recommend our best bets for MVS.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling Prop Prediction #1: Over 18.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
The play we like the best out of all Marquez Valdes-Scantling player props is for him to go over his receiving yards total of 18.5 yards. MVS has gone over this number convincingly in each of the last two postseason games for the Chiefs, tallying 62 yards against the Bills and 38 yards against the Ravens. Here, we expect him to hit at least 20 receiving yards once again.
Of course, for Valdez-Scantling to hit any of his overs in this game, he is going to have to do a decent amount in a tight window. He was targeted a total of six times in the last two games for the Chiefs, but made the most of those targets with four catches. We expect MVS to make the most of his limited targets again here and to avoid being the target of more memes pertaining to dropped passes like he was earlier in the season.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling Prop Prediction #2: Longest Reception Over 13.5 Yards (-110)
Our second MVS prop bet is another over, this time in the longest reception market. His longest reception number is set at 13.5 yards, a number he has smashed in two straight playoff games for the Chiefs. Valdes-Scantling has a catch of 32 yards in each of the last two games. While he may not make a play that big in Super Bowl LVIII, he will still make a big enough play to cash this over.
A big reason we like MVS overs in the Super Bowl is the fact that there has been some consolidation in the Chiefs wide receiver room in the playoffs. Kadarius Toney is having a bizarre feud with the Chiefs organization leading up to this game, which will likely result in him being left out of Kansas City’s plans for this game. MVS should benefit nicely from that and should reward the Chiefs by making at least one big play.
