Jalen Hurts Prop Prediction #1: Anytime TD Scorer (-105)
The first of our Jalen Hurts Super Bowl props for this game is for Hurts to find the end zone at -105 odds. Hurts is coming off of a performance in the NFC Championship Game where he rushed for three touchdowns in a 55-23 win over the Washington Commanders. Hurts has rushed for four touchdowns in three games this postseason and he has a much better chance than the coin flip odds he’s listed at to score a touchdown here.
Going into the NFC Championship Game, there were concerns about whether or not Hurts would be able to run the Eagles’ trademark quarterback sneak in short-yardage situations. But Hurts was removed from the injury report leading up to that game as his knee was in decent shape going into the game. One of the great strengths of the Chiefs on defense is their ability to get pressure on opposing quarterbacks. The scheme of defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo combined with the talent of defenders like George Karlaftis and Chris Jones should result in Hurts having to evacuate the pocket on a semi-regular basis. Look for that to mean more carries than Hurts might be accustomed to, as his number of rushes will reach double-digits on the big stage of the Super Bowl.
