Why Bet the Bengals:
✅ Buffalo is a great team, but they have not been winning with margin against quality competition. They have played five games this season against teams that ended up making the playoffs. They did not win any of those games by more than four points.
✅ Buffalo has proven that they have trouble with elite receivers, as they have struggled to contain the likes of Justin Jefferson and the dynamic duo of the Dolphins. Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins will have the same effect on the Buffalo secondary here.
✅ Cincinnati has been great at covering the spread throughout this season. They are 12-5 against the spread this season, the second best mark in the NFL, and 7-2 against the spread on the road.

Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals survived their Wild Card weekend matchup with the Baltimore Ravens, winning 24-17 at home. They were tied at 17-17 in the second half, and won the game by forcing a Tyler Huntley fumble at the goal line, which the Bengals returned 98 yards for a touchdown. Here, the Bengals will be in for another nip and tuck affair against the Buffalo Bills.
For Cincinnati, the key to this game is going to be their pass protection. They have been one of the best teams in the league at protecting the quarterback in the second half of the season, after a first half where Joe Burrow was forced to run for his life on a regular basis. If they can limit the impact of the Buffalo pass rush, Cincinnati could very well win this game outright on the road to get back to the AFC Championship Game.
Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills also won a tight game at home to start their playoff campaign. They beat the Miami Dolphins 34-31, surviving a game where the Skylar Thompson led offense of the Dolphins outperformed expectations and nearly stole the game entirely. Here, the Bills will need to be better on defense to avoid bowing out at the hands of the Bengals.
Buffalo also needs to be more precise on offense to avoid a loss in this game. Josh Allen threw for 352 yards and three touchdowns against the Dolphins on Sunday, but threw two interceptions that helped the Dolphins hang around. The Bills cannot afford those mistakes against a Bengals team that can hang up some huge offensive numbers and take advantage of even the slightest misstep by an opponent.
