The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Rams have started with a combined record of 4-0 to start this season. This week, one of these NFC contenders will move to 3-0 on the season, while the other will take their first loss of the year. In this edition of NFL betting picks, we analyze Buccaneers vs Rams and offer our thoughts on which side is the one to roll with in this massive game.
Buccaneers vs Rams Betting Pick
This game will be played at SoFi Stadium at 4:25 PM ET on Sunday, September 26, 2021.
Why Bet The Rams:
✅ Both teams have looked great so far this season heading into Buccaneers vs Rams. But the Buccaneers have played both of their games at home against suspect defenses in the Cowboys and Falcons. On the road against a quality Rams defense, the Buccaneers will have trouble scoring for a change.
✅ Defensively, the Buccaneers haven’t looked great this season through two games. Tampa Bay has allowed nearly 800 yards through two games, with the vast majority of that yardage coming through the air. Against a Rams team that is excellent at moving the ball with its passing attack, that bodes poorly for the Bucs.

✅ Dating back to last season, the Rams are 6-3 against the spread at SoFi Stadium. They covered the spread against the Chicago Bears in Week 1, and should be able to do the same against Tampa Bay thanks to their home field advantage in Los Angeles.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
After the Tampa Bay Buccaneers snuck past the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1 of this NFL season, they were expected to blow the Atlanta Falcons out in Week 2. But their game against the Falcons was closer than anticipated for most of the game, until a couple of fourth quarter pick sixes gave Tampa some breathing room down the stretch. In this game, the Bucs won’t be able to afford to be in a tight game, as the Rams have the firepower to blow by them at any point.
Offensively, the Bucs have been extremely efficient so far this year, thanks in large part to the duo of Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski. Gronkowski has four touchdown catches through two games, and looks like the player who was causing matchup nightmares for defenses before injuries consumed him in New England. The Rams will have to be careful when guarding the tight end position in this game, or Gronkowski could have another multi-touchdown performance.
Los Angeles Rams
The LA Rams followed up their Week 1 home win over the Chicago Bears with a gritty road win over the Indianapolis Colts. LA and Indy traded the lead back and forth in that game, with the Rams showing a lot of poise to make the necessary plays at the end of that game to take the lead and hold onto it. And that poise will come in handy against a Buccaneers team that has plenty of their own.
For the Rams, the key to this game will be their ability to get pressure on Tom Brady. That is a task that is easier said than done, but the Rams certainly have the pieces necessary to get after the quarterback. If they can do that, and Matt Stafford can avoid turning the ball over at a dangerous clip, the Rams could make a statement in this game that they are a legitimate Super Bowl contender.
