Leg #1: Bills ML
The first leg of our Bills vs Chiefs Same Game Parlay for Sunday is for the Buffalo Bills to win outright as a slight underdog on the road. Right now, the Bills are playing better football than the Chiefs, even if the Chiefs have a better record and home-field advantage entering this game. The Bills are coming off of a win over the Baltimore Ravens, who were thought to be one of the best teams in the league going into that game, and we expect them to build on that result here.
Buffalo’s ability to move the ball on the ground will be the key to their success in this matchup. Not only does running the ball make them unpredictable on offense and frees up space for Josh Allen to throw the ball down the field. It also allows the Bills to chew clock and keep the ball out of the hands of Patrick Mahomes, which will wear down the Kansas City defense and give the Bills the edge in this matchup.
Leg #2: James Cook Anytime TD Scorer
James Cook has been an integral part of the playoff success for the Bills so far this season, including in their win over the Ravens. The next leg of our parlay is for Cook to find the end zone in this matchup. He did not score against the Ravens, but he got 20 touches in that game between rushes and receptions. He got 23 touches against the Broncos in the first round as well, and a high volume of touches will help him get back to the end zone in this game.
Leg #3: Patrick Mahomes Under 251.5 Passing Yards
The final leg of our Bills vs Chiefs Same Game Parlay is for Patrick Mahomes to stay under 251.5 passing yards. Mahomes is a magician in big spots for the Chiefs, but the yardage just hasn’t been there for him to justify playing anything but the under here. Mahomes threw for 177 yards in the Chiefs’ Divisional playoff win over the Houston Texans and we expect another relatively low number this week.
Working against Mahomes in this game is the fact that he is facing a Bills team that could win the time of possession battle. Buffalo is going to try and run the ball both with Josh Allen and James Cook to keep the clock moving and keep the ball out of Mahomes’ hands. That and Mahomes’ struggles completing deep passes will contribute to the under coming in.
